Software Implementation Project Manager

Job Overview:

Software Implementation PM with responsibility for both business requirements definition (systems/business analyst) and program management (roadmap definition, ticket management, meeting management, User Acceptance Testing [UAT]).

Project Location:

Candidates must be local to the San Francisco Bay Area.

Skills and Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience in a technology environment.
  • Minimum of 2 years exposure to accounting software implementations.
  • Previous management experience with the ability to mentor/coach technical and consulting staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, MIS or related field.
  • Experience with providing presentations to clients and prospects.
  • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills, anticipating and solving issues before they occur or become critical.
  • Ability to establish and grow strong relationships with customer’s project team and sponsors.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills, especially conveying complex information in an understandable manner.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint

Compensation:

$110,000 – $130,000.
