Technical Researcher
Job Overview:

Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user guides, manuals, and reports on user story analysis and customer segmentation.

Conduct user experience research, including user story gathering, interviews, and observational studies.

Analyze research data to identify user needs, preferences, and pain points, focusing on different customer segments.

Collaborate with product managers, designers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure documentation and user experience research align with project goals.

Create user profiles, journey maps, and segmentation reports to inform design and development decisions.

Continuously update and improve documentation and UX research methodologies based on user feedback and industry best practices.
Location:
San Jose, CA
Skills and Requirements:

3+ years of experience in technical writing and/or user experience research, with a focus on user story analysis and customer segmentation.

Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in documentation tools such as MS Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Markdown.

Experience with UX research methods, including user story gathering, interviews, and observational studies.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, especially in analyzing user stories and segmenting customer data.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD is a plus.

Knowledge of software development processes and tools is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Technical Writing, User Experience Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
