Description:

The Contract Environmental Compliance Data Analyst supports product compliance and certification by driving collection of full material disclosure (FMD) and required environmental compliance documentation from suppliers and material manufacturers. The Environmental Compliance Data Analyst will play an integral part in the review and acceptance of FMD, contribute to compliance process improvement efforts, create and maintain documentation, in addition to managing supplier relationships and escalation needs.

Education:

BS degree required; MS degrees welcome; specialization in chemistry or a related topic is a plus

Requirements:

Some of the required tasks for this project are as follows (subject to change, depending on the needs of the project):

  • Local Candidates Only
  • Collect environmental compliance data and documentation from part suppliers and material manufacturers
  • Work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate environmental data and documentation is submitted in order to support hardware development programs
  • Drive suppliers to submit environmental compliance data and documentation, including FMD, statements of compliance, and test reports, to demonstrate compliance with Apple requirements
  • Identify parts and materials that require environmental compliance data and documentation, drive the supplier declaration process, and manage exceptions as needed
  • Prioritize issues and track details to ensure data is obtained as required to support development products
  • Fluency in Mandarin (preferred, but not required)
  • Background with commodities in consumer electronics space such as with batteries, track pads, LED displays, keyboards etc.
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, such as pivot tables and with macros
  • Familiarity with PLM systems such as Agile and Teamcenter
  • Familiarity with product analytics
  • High-level communication skills
  • A proven track record in program or project management
